Fionia Stool - Teak
Fionia stool is a modern, Nordic interpretation of the ancient X-chair. The lightweight and folding stool has a simple, triangular construction with a stable surface often used as a bedside table or elegant stand for books, pots and flowers as well. As Skagerak’s first stool ever and designed back in 1986, Fionia stool has become an iconic item serving multiple purposes in all rooms of the house.
Teak is a heavy, hard and sturdy wood type. The high content of natural oils makes it highly resistant and it is therefore a good choice for outdoor furniture.
As the wood is untreated, the surface will patinate over time and eventually turn a beautiful silvery grey. If you wish to preserve or intensify the original honey-golden colour, use a suitable furniture oil on a regular basis. The wood is resistant to everyday wind and weather with or without treatment due to the high content of natural oils.
