Schestowitz is a strong believer that a home should create a sense of belonging and togetherness. Growing up, she developed an appreciation for harmonizing diverse styles—placing a modern stainless steel island by an old dining area, or an African dresser next to an Eames chair. She is not a follower of design guidelines; instead, she trusts an intuitive harmony of space, color, and light. Her interiors are layered with travel collectibles, art acquisitions, family pieces, and historical patterns. The result is a series of warm, intimate spaces marked by bold palettes and Mediterranean influences.

Her ability to blend material, color, and composition reflects a passion for the Mediterranean Sea, archaeology, and ceramics. These themes inform her ongoing exploration of glaze and warm materials like iron and stone, resulting in interiors that feel at once curated and comfortably lived in.

This monograph celebrates personal havens across the Mediterranean, brought to life by international fashion photographer Dudi Hasson. His film prints capture the essence of residences in Tel Aviv, Cap Ferrat, and Paros, while text by American author and design writer Beth Dunlop—developed through a series of conversations with Schestowitz—offers further insight into the layered beauty of these spaces.
