This traditional Japanese rice cooker is clay crafted in the Mie prefecture, Japan. The ceramic bowl is perfect for making rice as it evenly distributes and radiates heat. An inner lid manages steam while the outer hinkoki cypress lid contains the moisture. The result is a bowl of rice that is steamed to perfection and fluffy.
Care instructions: Clean after usage with hot water. Do not put in the dishwasher. Do not leave to soaking in water for extended periods of time. Use wooden utensils to avoid scratching the surface.
