RIVET TYPECASE

The Rivet Typecase is a compartmentalized aluminum shelf designed for displaying and storing small, cherished objects. Created using a cold-forming riveting technique developed by designer Jonas Trampedach in 2011, each piece is assembled by hand from laser-cut aluminum sheets. The process leaves subtle hammer marks and variations that highlight the craftsmanship and material honesty of the piece. Over time, the raw aluminum develops a soft patina, deepening its character.
