Nature Paper Lamp - Fruit
Handcrafted by Asano Shoten in Japan’s Gifu Prefecture, the Nature Paper Lamp – Fruit reflects the studio’s long tradition of lantern making through a compact, portable form.
Each lamp is made using premium Mino washi paper stretched over a spiralled bamboo rib structure, then carefully applied by hand to a wooden mould. The shade rests on a solid Japanese cypress base, giving the lamp a quiet sense of balance and durability despite its lightweight construction.
Named Fruit, the softly rounded form feels full and grounded, diffusing light gently through the washi surface. Designed to be used without wires, the lamp runs on battery power and can be placed freely throughout the home, offering a warm, ambient glow with an understated, organic presence.
